Nepal’s COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 563 With Nine Fatalities

Kathmandu, Oct. 6: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Tuesday confirmed nine COVID-19 related deaths.

Nine people, four females and five males, succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.

A 31-year-old male of Terhathum, a 65-year-old male of Sunsari, two females aged 59 and 62 of Kathmandu, a 67-year-old female and two males aged 61 and 77 of Lalitpur, a 70-year-old male of Chitwan and a 77-year-old female of Nawalparasi (East), who had tested positive for COVID-19, died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.

With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 563.
