111 new cases, one death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, April 27: As many as 111 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Thursday while 60 people recovered from the disease.

In 1,040 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 78 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Thursday. Whereas, 33 positive cases were found in 1,477 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 378 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

One more death has been reported in the last 24 hours.

So far, 12,029 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
