136 new cases in 24 hrs, active cases stand at 401

Kathmandu, April 14: 136 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Friday while 68 people recovered from the disease.

In 197 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 34 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Friday. Whereas, 102 positive cases were found in 1,227 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 401 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

So far, 12,022 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
