COVID-19 Caseload Hits 14,519 With 473 New Cases, 664 Recovered

Kathmandu, July 2: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 473 new cases of COVID-19 today.

As many as 473 people, 364 males and 109 females, were identified with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, informed Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.

The new cases were detected in Sunsari, Morang, Jhapa, Saptari, Dhanusa, Mahottari, Achham, Bajhang, Doti, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Khotang, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Bardiya, Bhaktapur, Dang, Dhading, Dolakha, Gorkha, Kathamndu, Kavre, Makwanpur, Palpa, Rupandehi, Ramechap, Sindhuli, Sindhupalchowk, Argakhanchi, Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Baglung, Parbat, Tanahun, Syangja, Kaski, Lamjung, Dailekh and Kalikot.

Meanwhile, as many as 664 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the virus infection in the last 24 hours, Dr Gautam said.

With this, the national COVID-19 caseload has reached 14,519 including 5,320 cases of recovery and 31 death cases.
