CIAA Chief Commissioner Ghimire Tested Positive For COVID-19

Kathmandu, Aug 11: Chief Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Nabin Ghimire has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Sources familiar with his health test said he was tested positive for the COVID-19 on Tuesday. Ghimire is among 134 persons tested positive for the COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday, according to Health Ministry officials.

Ghimire has been staying in self-isolation at his own residence after his official driver and 14 police personnel deputed for his security were tested positive for the COVID-19 on August 4.
