Eight More Succumb To COVID-19, Death Toll Hits 157

Kathmandu, Aug. 24: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed eight COVID-19 related deaths today.

Three females and five males succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.

A 68-year-old male of Sunsari, a 65-year-old male of Morang, a 70-year-old female of Parsa, a 48-year-old female of Kathmandu, a 67-year-old female and three males aged 38, 53 and 54 of Rupandehi died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 157.
