14 Succumb To COVID-19, Death Toll Hits 221

Kathmandu, Aug. 30: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Sunday confirmed 14 COVID-19 related deaths.

Four females and 10 males succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.

Four females, aged 74 of Sunsari, 47 of Bara, 62 of Mahottari and 72 of Kathmandu and 10 males aged 60 of Sunsari, 62 of Morang, 70 of Mahottari, 30 of Rautahat, 29 of Lalitpur, 65 of Bhaktapur, 62 of Nawalparasi (East) and 57 and 67 of Rupandehi, who were infected with the novel coronavirus died in the last 24 hours.

With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 221.
