106 new cases, one death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, April 11: 106 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Tuesday while 48 people recovered from the disease.

In 476 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 74 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Tuesday. Whereas, 32 positive cases were found in 1,960 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 469 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation. Meanwhile, a death has been reported from the disease in the last 24 hours.

So far, 12,021 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
