
Kathmandu, Oct 1: The government has registered the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2083 in the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Pratibha Rawal registered the bill in Parliament today, Secretariat Spokesperson Eakram Giri said.
The bill’s registration number is 35. A cabinet meeting held on September 29 had given permission to present the bill, designed to amend and integrate laws relating to Federal Civil Service, in the federal parliament.
The government has clarified that the bill is needed to make civil service professional, capable, responsible and people-oriented by making bureaucracy free from political influence.
The bill has set a target of developing civil service committed to national interest and federal democratic republic as well as good-governance oriented mechanism.(RSS)
