14 New COVID-19 Cases Detected, Taking Total Number To 30 In Nepal

Kathmandu, April 17: Altogether 14 new COVID-19 cases have been detected on Friday, taking the total number to 30.

This is the first time the country had the highest number of cases in a single day. Of them, 12 are from Udaypur and two from Chitwan. The corona patients who were tested positive in Udaypur were mostly Indians, who took a shelter at a local mosque.

Two patients, who kept at isolation wards of Bharatpur Hospital of Chitwan are mother and son from at Rapti Municipality. They had landed on Nepal via Qatar Airways more than a month back.
