Lockdown Extended Till June 2

Kathmandu, May 17: A meeting of Council of Ministers Sunday decided to extend lockdown till June 2.

The cabinet decision comes in line with the recommendation of the High Level Coordination Committee (HLCC) that met earlier today to review the current status of the lockdown.

The committee has also recommended on issues such as halting unnecessary stoppage and disturbance to people, mobilisation of police force in all areas, proper management of import of goods and increase in the number of quarantines in local levels.
