National COVID-19 Tally Hits 2,912 With 278 New Cases

Kathmandu, June 5: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 278 new cases of COVID-19 today.

As many as 278 people including 267 male and 11 female tested positive for the virus, informed Dr Bikash Devkota, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press brief today.

Meanwhile, 43 COVID-19 patients of Jhapa, Dhankuta, Khotang, Udayapur, Morang, Saptari, Banke and Sunsari have been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours after recovering from the virus infection.

With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 2,912 including 333 cases of recovery and 11 death cases.
