Kathmandu, Sept. 9: The Ministry of Health and Population on Wednesday confirmed six new COVID-19 related deaths.
Six persons, three females and three males, succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, read the COVID-19 national update released by the ministry on Wednesday.
An 83-year-old female and a 67-year-old male of Kathmandu, a 73-year-old female of Kaski, a 42-year-old male or Argakhanchi, an 80-year-old female of Banke and a 64-year-old male of Nawalparasi died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.
With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 312 and the death rate stands at 0.63 per cent.
