Kathmandu, Sept 22: Kathmandu-based Chinese embassy Tuesday refuted the media reports that China had encroached upon the Nepali territory.
In a press statement, embassy spokesman said that the buildings mentioned by the media have been verified to be on the Chinese side of the China-Nepal border. The Nepali side may make verification again, he added.
He said: “China and Nepal are friendly neighbors. China has always respected Nepal’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. China and Nepal have no territorial disputes. The two sides have always maintained close communication on border affairs.”
