Kathmandu, Mar. 7: The seventh session of the Federal Parliament commenced today.
Lawmakers close to the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) boycotted the meeting a few minutes after the meeting started protesting over today’s agenda of the meeting.
Speaking in the meeting, lawmaker Bhima Rawal demanded that the agenda of ordinances should be removed from today’s meeting. However, Speaker Agni Sapkota continued with the agenda and the lawmakers close to the NCP Prachanda-Nepal faction exited from the meeting hall.
