121 new cases, one death in last 24 hrs

Kathmandu, April 12: A total of 121 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Wednesday while 81 people recovered from the infection.

In 620 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests conducted in the past 24 hours, 58 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Wednesday. Whereas, 63 positive cases were found in 1,757 antigen tests in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 445 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation. Meanwhile, a death has been reported from the disease in the last 24 hours.

So far, 12,022 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
