Students happy after receiving books on enrollment day

By Sher Bahadur Sarki, Bajura, April 29: The majority of students of Bajura who were compelled to give their exams without textbooks last year, are now elated to receive their textbook on their first day of a new session.

Janak Education Material Center Limited delivered the book to each provincial office and booksellers timely this year on the instruction of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

Jeevan Shahi, a nine grader of Dhuralsain Secondary School located at Budhiganga Municipality-1, Bajura, gave his eighth-grade exam without any textbooks. He said, “I am happy to receive books from school on the day of enrollment to ninth grade.”

He said that the whole academic session went by waiting for the arrival of the textbook. Timely receiving of books will increase the performance this year.

Maha Singh Thapa, Principal of Dhuralsain Secondary School said, “We could provide textbooks on time this year.

Tek Bahadur Thapa, a book distributor of Pravin and Lalit Stationary, Bamka, said, “Janak Education Material Center Limited provided us with books on time and accordingly, we could distribute books to school timely.”

This year, textbooks for grades 1 to 10 are available.

Thapa said that more than 7,000 sets of books have been distributed to other municipalities, Triveni Municipality, Budhiganga Municipality, and Khaptad Chhededaha Rural Municipality

Likewise, around 45,000 sets of books have been distributed to more than 237 schools located at Himali Rural Municipality, Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality, Jagannath Rural Municipality, Budhinanda Municipality, Gaumul Rural Municipality, Badimalika Municipality, Triveni Municipality, and Budhiganga Municipality.
