PM Karki holds meeting with security chiefs

 

Kathmandu, Oct 25: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has held a high-level meeting with the chiefs of the security agencies. We talked about the necessary move with a proper analysis of the present security situation, she said.

The meeting was attended by PM Karki, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Secretary at Home Ministry Rameshwor Dangal, and chiefs of all four security bodies. The security chiefs made briefings to the PM in the meeting, according to the PM’s secretariat.

Following the meeting, Home Minister Aryal told media, “We thoroughly analysed the present security situation. Information was received on possible demonstrations of various groups. Any group can put forth their political demands in a responsible manner.”

The government has opened the door for dialogue to sort out political issues, and is ready to hold talks with all sides concerned, the Minister added. (RSS)
