
Kathmandu, June 2: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 288 new COVID-19 cases today.
288 people from Rautahat, Syangja, Saptari, Banke, Shurkhet, Dailekh, Salyan, Achham, Bara, Dang, Pyuthan, Kanchanpur, Kailali, Dhanusha, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Siraha, Bhaktapur, Dhading, Kapilvastu, Kathmandu, Nawalparasi (east), Nawalparasi (west), Nuwakot and Rupandehi tested positive for the virus in RT-PCR tests performed nationwide, informed Dr Bikash Devkota, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press brief today.
With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 2099, with 266 cases of recovery and eight death cases.
