Kathmandu, Jan. 19: A secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) held on Sunday decided to field Agni Sapkota as a candidate for the vacant position of Speaker of House of Representatives (HoR).
The NCP Secretariat meeting held today nominated Sapkota’s name for the position of speaker of HoR, said NCP leader Bishnu Poudel.
Sapkota was elected as a member of HoR from Sindhupalchowk.
