156 New Cases Confirmed, National COVID-19 Tally Crosses 1000 Mark, Soars To 1042

Kathmandu, May 22: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 156 cases of COVID-19 today.

156 people from Saptari, Jhapa, Nawalparasi, Dhanusa, Mahottari, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Siraha, Dolakha, Solukhumbu, Bajhang, Shurkhet, Dailekh, Darchula, Kailali, Makwanpur, Bardiya, Banke and Rautahat were detected with COVID-19 infection, informed Dr Bikash Devkota, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.

With this, number of COVID-19 cases in Nepal has reached 1042, including 187 cases of recovery and five death cases.
