354 New Cases Of COVID-19 Recorded In Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu, Sept. 6: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Sunday confirmed 354 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley.

In 10,382 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the last 24 hours, as many as 354 persons were found with the virus infection in the valley itself, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.

Of the 354 new cases, 290 were detected in Kathmandu while Bhaktapur and Lalitpur each recorded 32 new cases of the virus infection.

Moreover, some 980 cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the nation, taking the national tally to 46,257 including 28,941 cases of recovery and 289 death cases.
