He viewed that the incumbent government was successful in bringing back the India-encroached land, further strengthening ties with India and China and among others.
The Head of the Government assured that a remote village like Ghunsa, would be accessible within three years as the government was building physical infrastructures in this area including the roads.
Furthermore, to promote domestic tourism, he said that the foreign tourists visiting Kanchenjunga region need not obtain special permit adding that the provision will be scrapped soon.

There is a community health unit in Ghunsa established some six years ago. The health institution received its own building just two years ago after undergoing many hardships for long. Local Ghunsa Foundation took initiatives in constructing the building for the health post. It is, however, facing difficulty to cater to patients for want of adequate workforce.
Two days away including by foot and vehicle from the district headquarters, Phungling, availability of basic facilities like health, education, electricity and infrastructural development of Ghunsa would help attract tourists and help local people as well as them in various ways, said local people.
