Rs 26.75 Billion For Purchasing Vaccines

Kathmandu, May 29: A sum of Rs 26.75 billion rupees has been allocated for purchasing vaccines against COVID-19.

Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2021/022 Minister for Finance Bishnu Paudel mentioned the budget for the purchase of vaccines.

He also mentioned that test and treatment of COVID-19 will be free of cost. Similarly, for the control and prevention of COVID-19 Rs 37.53 billion has been allocated.
