Election Commission Estimates Local Elections To Cost Rs. 12 Bln

Kathmandu, Feb. 1: Election Commission, Nepal, has estimated that it would cost about 12 billion rupees to hold the Local Level elections.

Proposing to hold the elections on May 18 at one go, the EC made public its estimate on Tuesday.

The Local Level election held approximately five years ago had cost Rs. eight billion, according to the EC.
