Kathmandu, July 11 : The government has formed a committee to look into Manang Air helicopter crash that occurred on Tuesday in Solukhumbu district.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers convened at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar on Tuesday expressed sorrow over the crash and decided to form a committee to probe it.
Six people-five Mexicans and a Nepali pilot-were onboard the helicopter that crashed at Lamjura Pass of Likhupike rural municipality-5 in the district.
The helicopter belonging to Manang Air with call sign 9 NA-MV had flown from Surke in Solukhumbu to Kathmandu on Tuesday morning. It went incommunicado after 10:01 am and later found crashed.
