IDCPC Chief Liu holds meeting with PM Deuba

Kathmandu, July 10: Chief of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC), Liu Jianchao, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter’s official residence at Baluwatar today.

At the meeting held at the official residence of Prime Minister, Baluwatar, the two leaders held talks on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest, according to the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Liu arrived in Kathmandu this morning leading an eight-member delegation. This is Liu’s maiden visit to Nepal in this role. He is in Nepal for a three-day official visit.

Likewise, Liu Jianchao held a meeting with Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

The two Ministers exchanged views on further strengthening of bilateral relations between Nepal and China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in its press release.

Earlier today, leader Liu paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Minister Liu arrived in Kathmandu this morning leading an eight-member delegation for a three-day official visit.
