64 new cases in 24 hrs, active cases stand at 357

Kathmandu, April 8: 64 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Saturday while 57 people recovered from the disease.

In 168 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 41 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Saturday. Whereas, 23 positive cases were found in 1,002 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 357 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

So far, 12,020 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
