104 new cases, one death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, April 17: 104 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Monday while 60 people recovered from the disease.

In 571 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 63 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Monday. Whereas, 41 positive cases were found in 1,061 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 379 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

One death has been reported in the last 24 hours from the disease.

So far, 12,023 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
