108 new cases in 24 hrs, active cases stand at 386

Kathmandu, April 19: As many as 108 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Wednesday while 66 people recovered from the disease.

No deaths related to COVID-19 were reported in the last twenty four hours.

A total of 2,450 people’s sample were tested for the virus infection in the period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Of the total, 55 cases were confirmed through RT-PCR test while 53 cases were identified through antigen tests.

The active caseload of COVID-19 across the country has reached 386.

A total of 21 patients of COVID-19 are in organizational isolation in the Kathmandu Valley, and of them seven are placed in ICU and three in ventilator treatment.
