Ruling alliance continues as per consensus: PM Prachanda

Kathmandu, June 22: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the existing ruling coalition will continue as per the consensus.

PM Prachanda, who is also the Chair of CPN (Maoist Centre), made it clear that there was no problem with the current collation. “There is no pointing in making hurried remarks over government’s sustainability because it is functioning with utmost consensus,” he added.

Addressing the 7th general convention of the Tamang National Front here today, PM Prachanda reminded that political change was possible with the contribution of various ethnicities and nationalities. “The oppressed class, genders and regions have got opportunities, rights and justice due to the movement launched by the Maoist party,” he added.

The Maoist movement was not of a particular party and community but of all Nepali who wanted change.

According to him, the party chose a peaceful political competition to protect achievements and prepare a base for socialism.

He informed that a special general convention would be slated after holding a meeting of the party central committee. (RSS)
