Home Minister Gurung resigns

Kathmandu, April 22: Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has resigned from his post today.

Gurung has written in his social site that he has resigned from the post to ensure impartial investigation into matter related to his financial conduct and to avoid the conflict of interest while in office.

Surendra Bajgain, media coordinator of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, informed the TRN Online that Home Minister Gurung submitted his resignation letter to Prime Minister Balendra Shah. He said that PM Shah has kept the Home Ministry with himself.

Gurung was appointed as Home Minister on March 27.
