Three bills tabled in House of Representatives

Kathmandu, Aug 10: Three separate bills have been presented in the meeting of the House of Representatives, the lower house of the Federal Parliament, today.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle presented the Employees’ Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083 in the meeting.

While presenting the bill, he said that the EPF’s Act of 2019 BS is being implemented and said that this bill has been presented as it was necessary to make timely amendments to this.

Similarly, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, presented the ‘Reconciliation (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083’.

While presenting the bill, she informed the House that the bill was introduced to amend the act issued in 2068 BS and to ensure speedy justice.

In the meeting, Youth, Labor, and Employment Minister Ramji Yadav presented the ‘Child Labor (Prohibition and Regulation) Bill, 2083.’

While presenting the bill, he informed the House that the bill has been brought to prohibit children from engaging in hazardous work and to regularize and regulate existing laws.(RSS)
