Nepalis Rescued From Myanmar Arrive In Kathmandu

Kathmandu, June 5: As many as 26 Nepalis evacuated from Myanmar have reached Kathmandu.

The Nepali Army (NA) has been preparing to keep them in holding center.

The Nepalis were rescued from Myanmar via Myanmar Air Force.

The Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) informed that the flight had already taken off from Myanmar and would land in Kathmandu at around 12:00 in the afternoon.

The Air Force will be rescuing Burmese citizens from Nepal while returning, informed Raj Kumar Chhetri, Spokesperson of Civil Aviation Authority, Nepal.
