136 new cases in 24 hours, active cases reach 390

Kathmandu, April 25: As many as 136 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Tuesday while 64 people recovered from the disease.

In 1,019 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 92 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Tuesday. Whereas, 44 positive cases were found in 572 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 390 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

So far, 12,027 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
