Kathmandu, Dec 9: Kathmandu Valley witnessed a light rain on Monday afternoon.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, partial to normal changes in the weather across the nation will remain till Monday night.
MFD said that Also, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places in Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Lumbini Province, a few places in Gandaki and one or two places in hilly areas of Bagmati Province and other provinces.
It further said due to the effect of the weather system, the temperature will drop slightly and the cold may increase.
Department has requested the general public to be alert and prepared for rain, snow and cold, and its effect on daily life.
