Finance Minister Khatiwada Resigns

Kathmandu, Mar. 3: Finance Minister Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, who is also looking after the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, has resigned from his ministerial post today.

As his two-year National Assembly (NA) membership is expiring tomorrow, Minister Khatiwada tendered his resignation today.

Issuing a press release, the Office of the President confirmed that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli would be taking over Khatiwada’s responsibilities until appointment of new ministers for the vacant position.
