Chitwan, June 27 : A COVID-19 patient who was undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital died today. He was suffering from lung cancer as well.
With this, the death toll from the virus hit 28.
According to the Information Officer at the Hospital, Liladhar Poudel, the deceased is 50-year-old male of Lalgadh-7 Godawari of Kailai district. Poudel added that the patient had recently returned home from India.
He was admitted to the hospital three days back after he complained difficulty in respiration. The patient was tested COVID-19 positive in course of treatment there.
