NOC hikes prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene, LPG price reduced by Rs 130 per cylinder

KATHMANDU, August 1: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and reduced the price of cooking gas cylinder effective from Tuesday midnight.

The NOC in a statement on Tuesday said that the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 9 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs 7 per liter. Similarly, the price of cooking gas has been reduced by Rs 130 per cylinder.

According to the price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), the NOC fixed the new price. According to the NOC, the IOC has sent a new price list by increasing petrol by Rs 8.14 and diesel by Rs 6.86 per liter. The price of cooking gas has been reduced by Rs 117.62 per cylinder.

The new price fixed by the NOC will be applicable at different places across the country. The NOC has divided the places into three categories for the price of petroleum products.
